Get answers to common questions about PRP Hair Treatment- Single Treatment.
A typical session includes consultation, blood draw, centrifugation to isolate PRP, and precise scalp injections. The procedure usually takes about 45–60 minutes. You may feel mild pressure or pinprick sensations; topical numbing reduces discomfort and most clients resume activities afterward.
Initial improvements often appear within 8–12 weeks as follicles respond. Noticeable thickening typically requires a series of treatments spaced weeks apart. Results vary by individual—age, genetics, and hair loss stage influence timelines; maintenance sessions help sustain outcomes.
PRP is autologous, so allergic reactions are rare; it’s generally suitable for most hair types. However, candidacy depends on medical history, platelet levels, and the type of hair loss. A consultation and scalp assessment determine if this treatment is appropriate for you.
While a single session can offer benefits, most clients follow a series—commonly three treatments spaced four to six weeks apart—followed by maintenance every few months. Your provider will recommend a personalized plan based on severity and response.
Discomfort is usually minimal. We apply topical numbing and use fine needles to limit pain. You may feel brief pinpricks or pressure during injections and mild soreness afterward, but most clients tolerate the session well with simple aftercare.
Common side effects are temporary: redness, swelling, pinpoint bleeding, or mild bruising at injection sites. Serious complications are rare. Follow aftercare instructions, avoid certain medications initially, and contact us if you experience increased pain or signs of infection.
